Volcano boarding or volcano surfing is the equivalent of sandboarding on active volcanoes. It is a popular exteme sport in Nicaragua where it is practiced on the Cerro Negro volcano near Leon, but it can be practiced in a handful of locations worldwide, including Guetemala, Indonesia, Vanuatu, and Italy.
