You can sandboard in the Ilocos Region in the north of the Philippines, specifically in the Ilocos Norte province.

There are many sand dune systems close to the province capital, Laoag City, where you can enjoy this sport.

Enjoy a spectacular view of the sunset from the La Paz sand dunes after a day of sand surfing and riding 4×4 vehicles or head to the Paoay sand dunes instead.

These dunes are located around a half hour drive from Paoay. There are slopes of different heights and sizes and they are constantly shaped by the wind coming from the sea.

Both 4×4 dune bashing and sandboarding are a must – the best time to enjoy these activities is after 5pm when the weather cools down a bit.
