Sandboarding is an exciting sport gaining popularity, but its inclusion in the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles remains uncertain. The sport is not currently recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and faces challenges such as insufficient global participation and a lack of an international governing body.
The SandSpirit, a unique snowboard race on sand, takes place at Monte Kaolino on July 12th and 13th. This year, it will be held as the European Sandboarding Championships, featuring three disciplines and a larger field of young athletes.
