Once you’re on Hwy 78, you’ll see signs for the dunes and the ranger station where you can purchase your permit.
If you’re looking for a more scenic route, take Hwy 8 from Yuma and follow it until you reach the dunes.
The drive along Hwy 8 offers beautiful views of the desert and the surrounding mountains.
