If you’re looking for a unique adventure in the Maldives, sandboarding at Thoondu in Fuvahmulah City is one of the most exotic destinations where you can give thi activity a try.

This city is the only atoll in the Maldives that consists of just a single island. With around 14,000 residents, it is the second largest in the country.

The inhabitants speak a distinctive form of the Dhivehi language, known as “Fuvahmulaki baha”.

The Thoondu sand dunes are easily reachable from the city. They offer spectacular beach views and thrilling 4×4 rides.
