La Paz sand dunes are located in the Ilocos Norte capital city of Laoag and easily reachable from there.
They offer spectacular beach views and thrilling 4×4 rides, make sure to enjoy the sunset there while you are at it and have fun sand surfing.
Paoay Sand Dunes – Paoay, Ilocos Norte
These dunes are located around a half hour drive from Paoay. There are slopes of different heights and sizes and they are constantly shaped by the wind coming from the sea.
Both 4×4 dune bashing and sandboarding are a must – the best time to enjoy these activities is after 5pm when the weather cools down a bit.
